How did this happen? How are we already booking tickets and picking outfits for wedding season?! Weren’t we just snowed in with 30 inches on the ground just yesterday?
Wedding season always makes us reflect on our own weddings and those of friends and family. Our favorite part of any wedding is, of course, the reception when it’s time to let loose – but more than that, the first dance when the couple can finally relax from wedding week and get 3 minutes of uninterrupted time to realize that they’re finally married! Some people pick the latest trend in songs and others go more traditional… We love love when the couple decides to pick some off beat, not so typical first dance songs! Here is a few of them that we’ve seen in the past (and ours, which we are still so obsessed with)!
Is Pal – Aaja Nachle (Dipti’s first dance)
Musical – Kuch Kuch Hota Hai (Nina’s first dance)
Tera Chehra by Adnan Sami (Sheena’s first dance)
Dheere Dheere Se Meri Zindagi (Original track)
Saibo – Shor in the City
Pani Da Rang – Vicky Donor
Tu Muskara – Yuvraaj
Hosanna – Ekk Deewana Tha
Raabta (Siyaan Raatein) – Agent Vinod
Meherbaan – Bang Bang
Hona Tha Pyar – Bol
Aaj phir tum pe – Hate Story 2
Kabhi Jo Baadal Barse – Jackpot
Ok, a little disclaimer: the three of us rarely listen to American music so this list is mainly of songs we love (and of course not as extensive as the above list)! Let us know of any atypical American tracks that you think are perfect for first dances too!
